Great day...

It's a beautiful day in Sunny Arizona. Jali had her last soccer game today(thanks goodness). She was on a team of 3 girls and 1 boy and every other team they played had 3 or 4 boys and 1 girl. It was ugly every week.

I got my Villanova pick correct. Today I'm going with the Kings at home over Memphis, I think I'll get it right.

Today I chopped down the pony wall on my kitchen island and put one big flat counter top in it's place. I love it, it's so much better. My neighbor Dave helped me do it, he's an awesome guy.

My pick

Today I picked Tiger Woods to shoot 69 or higher.... bad pick! Now I'm going to pick Villanova to beat Duke tonight, like I said I'm terrible at this thing. If anyone has any advise please let me know.... I want to win the million :).

Fantasy Baseball draft is tonight, this is one of the best days of the year. I think I'm going to be heavy with Cub players again this year... we'll see how far that takes me.

Streak for the Cash

On espn.com right now there is a game called streak for the cash. Basically you just have to pick who will win between two different teams and if you pick the correct winner 27 times in a row you win 1 million dollars. Well, I've been playing this game consistently all this year and the longest winning streak that I've had is a whopping THREE. It's pathetic, I really need a new strategy on this thing, does anyone have some advise? I picked Orlando to beat Boston tonight (Orlando is at home).

I watched the Jazz beat the Rockets last night, they played really well for the most part. I was thrilled to see that Harpring is out of the rotation. It actually gives me hope that they might do something this year. We'll see how they do against the Suns tonight on the road. Two nationally televised games in a row, I don't think Amber is going to be too thrilled about that.

March is great

I really enjoy this time of year from a sports perspective. March madness, Spring training, fantasy baseball and the NBA season is finally winding down. The Aggies had a great season but Cinderella's shoe didn't fit again this year (heartbreaking). My fantasy baseball draft is this thursday, I'm preparing myself and I think it's my year. The Jazz are being the Jazz. The Cubs are going to win it, I promise.

Amber and I are getting the house ready for the new baby. We are so excited to have another little girl in the house. Jali and Jack have been great, we've really started to find our groove as a family but I'm pretty sure we are going to lose our grove come April 6th. We haven't decided on a name, Amber likes Jane and Gretchen and I like Sienna. Apparently I don't get a say in the matter this time around so I'd guess that she will be named Jane. I told Amber that everyone will call her plain Jane but I guess that doesn't matter. If anyone has any suggestions on names please send them my way.
